1968 Gibson ES 335 For Sale

We are so pleased to offer this 1968 Gibson ES-335 in beautifully aged vintage sunburst. This vintage guitar is from a retired dealer/collector who has owned this guitar for decades and is letting go of a few nice vintage guitars.

This guitar is original has that honest play wear; the good ones always are played the most. So many from this era of 335s are in Cherry finish but this vintage sunburst is just aged perfection and rare to find that look, sound and feel we all love.

All original except refret and minor bridge post repair, this 335 is great representation of the early mid’60s era and here’s the best part: the sound. I have played many old Gibsons with PAFs but these Patent Sticker pickups sound incredible.

The pickups are just simply some of the best Gibson pickups I’ve ever heard and I was simply stunned at the clarity and separation, both clean and especially with overdrive. I love being surprised by the sound of a guitar I was not expecting to hear. Upon closer inspection it seems as though they’ve been potted (waxed) a long time ago and I could not even believe it because they sound so much better than most 335s.
