1973 Fender Precision
1973 Fender Precision
An actual Original Olympic White finish on a P Bass is a rare thing. Most are refinished; this one is not. Often confused with “Blonde” finishes (which are translucent, not opaque) true Olympic white yellows with age.
All original except BadAss Bridge replacement which was common. Pickups and maple neck date to late ‘72 and pots to early ‘73.
The Egyptian Ra sticker on the body was given to the owner by Jorge Santana, who he played with for many years.
Great feeling neck, pickups sound full and strong, includes pickup cover and an old Fender HSC. This is an outstanding and rare early ‘70s PBass.
