Pleased to offer this incredibly clean original 1970 Gibson EB-3 bass guitar. Its only owner took great care of this bass as it shows with a rich cherry finish that is one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen.

Originally introduced in 1961 as the two pickup bass model to the EB-0 and unlike later models, it features the 4-way switch for tone options and individual controls for both the large humbucker and the mini humbucker pickups.

Serial number dates to 1968, but pots 1970 and has Made in USA stamp; with the slotted headstock and the neck pickup close to the neck, it is most likely a 1970.

The short scale neck is very comfortable and frets have minimal wear and a nice fretboard. Overall, if it’s a clean vintage Gibson SG style bass you’re looking for, this is the one. Includes OHSC
