Pleased to offer this original, one owner, Gibson ES-335 in Cherry Red. A very clean transitional es 335 that has the preferred wider 1&11/16ths nut, nickel hardware, pots date to 40th week of 1964, the serial number is 1964, pre-t-top patent number sticker pickups, but it has a stock trapeze tailpiece which started in 1965. Our guess is it’s basically a late ‘64 that got the new ‘65 tailpiece.
This guitar is an excellent example of what we all want in a 1960s ES 335. Incredible sound, excellent condition, frets have life but a refret would help, beautiful original finish. Priced at discount in light of ancient headstock repair, includes old HSC.
