1967 Guild Navarre F50 SB
1967 Guild Navarre F50 SB For Sale - SOLD
(Serial No. AD430) Excellent minus condition in gorgeous naturally aged sunburst finish. This was the top of line flat top guitar for Guild in 1967. It was handmade in the original Guild factories at Hoboken, New Jersey, right before they moved the facilities to Westerly, Rhode Island in the early 70's. Unfortunately, the Westerly Guild's never quite achieved the favored status of those made in Hoboken.
This guitar has a big 17 inch lower bout with 5 ply binding on the body, fretboard and peghead, pearl Guild logo with the pearl G, gold hardware, with a solid Sika spruce top and flamed pressed maple back and sides. 1 & 11/16 inch nut. Has an ebony fretboard with big pearl block inlays and an ebony bridge.
Shows the usual nicks of playing wear for a 56 year old instrument actually used to make music by a New York session pro in the early 1970s. Neck is straight and the frets are fine. The body finish is original. All hardware is original. The sound is big and powerful. Includes HSC.
